At launch, browsing and posting through your AI covers the same Utah Valley neighborhood as the app.

Add Rove as a custom connector

Sign in with the same Apple ID you use in the Rove iOS app. Works with ChatGPT, Claude, and other MCP clients that support a remote server and OAuth.

ChatGPT

Open ChatGPT on the web.

Go to Settings → Apps & Connectors. Some accounts open the same flow at chatgpt.com/plugins. If you see Advanced settings, turn on Developer Mode first.

Choose Create or Add custom MCP server.

Name it Rove. Server URL: https://rovedating.com/mcp

Authentication: OAuth. Create the connector, then Sign in with Apple on Rove's consent screen.

In a new chat, ask Rove for Thursday-night dates or to post a plan.

Claude

On claude.ai, open Customize → Connectors. Team and Enterprise owners use Organization settings → Connectors.

Choose Add custom connector (or Add → Custom).

Paste https://rovedating.com/mcp and continue.

Connect, then Sign in with Apple. The same connector works in Claude, Claude Desktop, and Cowork.

Other MCP clients

Any client that can call a remote Streamable HTTP MCP server with OAuth can use the same URL. Point it at rovedating.com/mcp, complete Sign in with Apple, and ask it to act only after you confirm.

Your AI acts only for you

It uses your Rove account — the same profile, plans, and requests you see in the app.

The same limits apply: confirmation before it sends a request or posts or cancels a plan, the same text moderation, and the same daily caps.

Your AI does not get push alerts from Rove. Ask it to check — for example, “any new requests today?”

You can revoke access later in the iOS app under Connected AI apps.
